To participate in the Nepal Photo Workshop we require travel, medical and evacuation insurance. Evacuation above 15,000 ft (4751m) is required. Should you get altitude sickness it is imperative to get you back to Kathmandu as quickly as possible.
There are companies like United Health Care Global Safe Trip and Global Rescue among others that offer these services and you are welcome to choose whatever service works for you.

We have used Global Rescue ourselves and they are the preferred insurance provider for Orvis Adventures, NASA, US Ski Team and others.

Global Rescue 14 day health and evacuation insurance starts at $574. This includes evacuation above 15,000 feet. (4,572m) which you must have. If you travel quite a bit you can save money with an annual membership.
In addition to the medical and evacuation insurance you must protect the cost of your trip and other non-refundable travel expenses with travel insurance.
