Kathmandu Post

Here is a link to the Kathmandu Post. Great way to start to get a feel for Nepal, the people, issues, and culture. https://kathmandupost.com/

Not a huge amount of coverage for the Khumbu region but if there is significant news it will be shared here.

It is the monsoon season now and rain is falling almost every day. Earlier this month there was a huge flooding problem and many of the villages that were damaged by water and mud slides are still recovering. No word of any issues in the Khumbu as the villages tend to be high above the rivers, you’ll feel that in your legs on our trek, and well established. But the extra water brings insects and makes getting around more difficult due to mud and washed out trails.

Good news for our workshop is March tends to be dry and green! So the landscapes will be stunning and there will be lots of snow on the peaks.
